Snow on the mountain : Co Kerry


The black stacks covered in snow, taken in late February, with some helpful actors.

MacGillycuddy’s Reeks is a mountain range in Co Kerry, Ireland meaning “the black stacks”. It icludes the highest peaks in Ireland with Carrauntoohil being the highest at 1,038 m.

The mountains are on the Iveragh Peninsula near the Lakes of Killarney.
